Usual dance requirements for auditions:

• Triple pirouettes
  
• Axles
  
• Calypso Jumps
  
• Switch Leaps
  
• Center Leaps
  
• Jetés
  
• Double piqués and inside turns
  
• Fish Flops
  
• Splits
  
• Needles

Tryouts are twice a year at the beginning of each semester consisting of ballet, jazz and modern components; usually consisting of across the floor and dance combinations at center floor.

Current members re-try out every fall but do not have to re-try out in the spring. Spring tryouts are only to fill the few spots that usually open by then. Members with bad standing cannot re-try out for a semester; Bad standing can be achieved by excessive absences and failure to pay dues among others.

To be a member you must:

• Be a currently enrolled Baylor student with at least 12 semester hours in progress
  
• Maintain a minimum of a 2.5 GPA
  
• Remain in “Good Standing” (See Constitution link)
  
• Perform at least one performance a year
  
• Attend company techniques and rehearsals twice a week for 1 ½ hours
